    Boo Hoo!

Some sad news on the blogging front. My crap top finally died. It was the screen that went, not the mother board like I was told. I've had to view everything in safe mode for the last several months.

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and purchase a new one. I've already decided that it will be a MAC. I can use it for work at home which will allow me to get more hours in once the girls go back to school. I'm kinda pissed because MACs cost twice as much. I know, I know, they are twice as good and you have to pay for quality, yada yada yada. I'm doing a little finacial finagling to come up with the money. You know, robbing from Peter to pay Paul.

The party was hot yesterday but nice. The christening today was even better. That baby, Emma, is a doll. I will eventually post some pictures.

I hope to try to keep up this week but doubt it will happen since I don't have easy access to a computer. I will get to all of you eventually.

I'm sorry your puter puked. Sometimes they are more aggrevating then fun.

I am thinking about a lap top too. Of course Crab will tell me to get a Mac. Probably will. I'm hooked now.

Jenn, sorry to hear the bad news about your laptop. If you need to use a computer, you are more than welcome to come over. ;)

Glad you enjoyed to party and the christening. Can't wait to see some pics of the little one.

I've been sorta hoping my desktop takes a shit so that I can buy a laptop. Which is the main reason I allow my eight year old to do whatever he wants on the compy. So far she's hold strong-damn!

What did you say you were doing with Peter? :)

In the past I would have said you were crazy to get a Mac expecially since Apple could not decided if it wanted to be in business or not. At one point they had maybe a 15 percent market share and then self destructed again.

Since OS X, however, I think they are a good system and plenty stable (crashing was my big complaint before). I am not sure they are worth all that extra money but with it being useful for work to ... go for it. Maybe some is selling a used one on eBay or something.

I must be one of those cave-dwellers. I HATE MACS. But hey...whatever works, right?

Good luck on the money deal. I HATE it when surprise purchases pop up. Does your state have the "no tax" thing this weekend? Computers are on the list of "no tax" here in VA. You could save some moolah buying this weekend!
