    A Little Help

I have aquired a new blogger friend. She writes hilarious stories using other bloggers and always links back to them. She's quite talented. I found that she left a comment and is in need of people for her next tale. It's really quite painless. Here is her comment to me:

A brief interruption of today's program.

Okay, yall, I'm generally too shy to drum up business this way (seriously, I am), but I need some damn PASSENGERS for the Toxic Bullette. I think I have a full crew, now, but I'm sadly lacking in other areas. If it helps, the ship is child-free, spouse-free and just plain free-for-all. Please send "passengers" my way. Just reply to the appropriate post, tell me a little about yourself (like, if you're naughty or nice and if there is something about you that is off-limits - so no one's feelings get hurt) and make sure I can link you. Send friends. God I sound so desparate. Kinda like when I had just gotten my braces and had that strange halo looking headgear thing and still hadn't grown into my "big hair" that all southern women are required to wear - and was looking for a date to the 7th grade dance. I'm pathetic [and shit like that].

If you can help her out, I know she would appreciate it.

Another update on the sleeping arrangements. It's day five without a full night's sleep. We have purchased 2 new mattresses from the waterbed stores. One was too small and the other that we got last night became a hot air ballon blowing up into a ball shape instead of a mattress shape.

I'm going to have to check out mattresses on line which means more nights without sleep.

If we had the room I would definetly have my own. Since we have two daughters who still require shelter it will be several years before I have my own room.

On top of everything, my knee feels like it has water on it. I didn't hurt it or at least don't remember doing so. I also have a head cold where the drainage just drips constantly. How can you have that much liquid in your body? Turn off the faucet already.

As you can imagine, I'm having a hard time being my sweet self. I'm trying to keep the uber bitch in check but without sleep I become a raving lunatic.

Everyone should go and help out Friday, she really needs money for antibiotics.

SG: I know how much you love to be on your back, but honostly, three days talking about your mattress? I'm making it my personal mission to find you a replacement ;)

I think you should shell out the dough for one of those memory foam beds - you could get a full sized just for you (twin size beds are only for anyone under 100 pounds!). You could build a platform, rather than doing the whole bedrails crap. If you get a memory foam mattress, I'm moving in. You can thrash all you want. I sleep on the edge of the bed, anyway and rarely move once I've gone to sleep. I don't snore; though I do grind my teeth.

Jenn, I feel for you. I hope you get this matress thing sorted out soon before you go crazy.

If you lived closer you could stay with us. You know I would look after you. ;)

Never let them tell you that you can't be extremely sick and extremely healthy at the same time. I wrote a book about that once, but it got lost in the Gist. This title was "Being Ill and Well: How to Own Yourself," and it was a bestseller. I made a mint on the resell values. Then I spent all the money on gold-plated socks.

Oh hell no, do you make the house payment? Do you buy the food and the clothes? Those two girls would be sharing a room, even if I had to give them the master bedroom and then I would put hubby in room and me in the other......just a thought!

Hey, that was no joke. I put my 6 year old and my 12 year old stepson in the masterbedroom with the master bath. Then I took a room and hot hubby took a room....now everyone sleeps peacefully. Of course the little 6 year shit only has to share his big ole room with stepson 4 days a month. Spoiled ass.

I have a queen size mattress... It would not get you off the ground very much however. I am sure I could dig it up if need be. Of course it is probably to big.
