    Cottage Cheese

I've been without internet services since Saturday. Talk about feeling alone! I'm typing this on (gasp!) dial-up. I have no idea how anyone can stand to wait for a page to load. I would have to forget about blogging if I didn't have high speed.

Mr. Sign just called to tell me that the only problem with our internet was that the ISP # changed. Huh? I have no idea how that happened in a matter of hours. I guess it's fixed now.

Today is my 1st day back to work. It's going well. I get tired pretty easily but I'm taking my time.

I had my 2 week post op appointment with the surgeon yesterday. I've lost 34 pounds since I started the 2 week liquid diet. He told me not to gauge my success with the weight loss but also told me I'm ahead of the game for weightloss. Woo hoo!!!

He said we need to wait and see about my leg. He thinks it's a nerve thing too.

Did I mention I have a huge crush on my surgeon? He's so adorable with the most beautiful blue eyes. Oh yeah, he's really nice. The physician's assistant sends me over the edge too. I love his sence of humor and he's a flirt. (This pisses Mr. Sign off.) I guess most people that have weight loss surgery have a special feeling for the person who helped give them a new life.

I got to eat my cottage cheese today (1/4 cup)!!! I know you're all thrilled to hear that. Let me tell you that real food never tasted so good. I'm being very caustious so as not to auto eject anything I eat. I haven't thrown up (yet).

LMAO! I need to e mail you. My sugeon brought up...um...nipples.
I answered his questions and then came the 'exam'. He kept saying " Nice, very nice"

I still have no clue as to what all of that had to do with my gall bladder.LOL

Jenn, congratulations of the weight loss that's brilliant!

Now, what were you saying about your surgeon? Do you think you could sneak a picture for us to look at him? lol

You take care and don't over do it. *hugs*

Damn women, you are a trooper! Already back at work and everything. I hope that's small curd cottage cheese because large curd is just nasty.

Why would anyone still be using dial-up? Honestly.

Exactly how much weight are you hoping to lose, if I may ask :)

Weeew, cottage cheese tastes like spoiled milk to me. Are there any other options for those who don't prefer cottage cheese? I'm glad to hear about your success, and of course you're going to have fond feelings for the person who basically help change your life. I hope this brings you health & happiness. Health most of all.

    Enjoy your weekend!

P.S. I just got wireless internet a few months ago- from dial up. I was getting it for free, and WOW -- what a difference!

Silly me, I could have swore I left comments a couple of times and ... nope, none here.

You should do much better at work next week. When I went back after my one surgery the first half week was something else but I had so much more strength the next week.

Congrats on the cottage cheese. Isn't it funny but the littlest thing after you have more or less been on a liquid diet can seeem like the best thing in the world. Just think, soon you can probably do peaches or pears. :)

Woo hoo, the Internet thing is fixed. If things are not set up properly on the Internet connection it will not adjust if the address is changed. It sounds like that may have been what happened. Eihter way, glad you are back. Dialup ... bleh!!!
