    A New Beginning

Everything went as expected for Mr. Sign. He's home and doing well. The first night was rough. He didn't sleep and spent most of the night freaking out. I realized he needed to take the pain medicine more often than suggested. After we regulated the pain, everything was copesetic.

Men really do handle pain differently than women. Mr. Sign said he didn't think that I had had pain after surgery. I had to tell him that I had to grin and bear it so he didn't change his mind about having the surgery because of my pain.

He lost almost as much weight as I have because he was able to diet before surgery. He lost 30 pounds in two weeks! Things have slowed down a bit for now for him.

We are looking forward to a healthy new year. This will be the first time we will be at a healthy weight since we got married 17 year ago.

Thank you to all my friends for your support throughout the last year. Allowing me to get my feelings out has been so beneficial and your feedback has been priceless.

Phew! Girl! I was worried sick about you guys. I'm so glad it went well and you're both on the road to healthy, happy, high energy living.

Hang on. You with high energy...might be a little scary considering how much you get into anyhow. LOL!

CrabCake~ I was busy being a nurse and couldn't post. Happy New Year!

Manny~ I love butt cheeks, lol! I thought these were hilarious. I had to be an equal opportunity offender so I found both sexes.

You are just the best Sign. I am so glad things went well for the both of you.

I think the pain thing is more individual that just men and women although I will admit women can tolerate more pain for the most part. When I had my full blown open gull bladder I heard that the pain meds would keep me in the hospital longer so I started to back myself off of it. When I went home in 3 days I refused to take aby more medication even thought it was vicodin and I love the stuff. As you said, I just toughed it out.

I am sure he is doing better day by day. In a week he will be doing well, in a month he will be all set.

I can't wait for the next time I get to see you to. You two will look super.

    Yes! You're back!

Men are babies when it comes to pain and stuff.

Tell him I'm laughing at his sissyness...

Uh, about the butts... GO GIRL!

So glad your back, Happy New Year!

You're right, men don't handle pain nearly as well as women do. My mom is a nurse and said that if having babies were left to the men the human race would be extinct.

I'm glad he is doing well.

    Happy New Yeat!
