    On A Brighter Note

Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and offers of help. You are good people. It seems that our friends will have to move in with relatives. It's not the best scenerio but it is at least a short term answer.

The gift shop at school went well. I even got up yesterday at 5 am to make popcorn for the entire school before I opened the shop. I had way too much energy.

Mr. Sign called after I got home and invited me to go out to an Italian restaurant with his employees. I normally stay away from anything to do with his work. My extra energy told me to go.

I was able to order from the regular menu. It was pretty good but not as good as I remembered. It was strange to see my plate full when I finished. Normally, I could eat the whole plate plus bread with oil and herbs. I'm happy to report that I never touched the bread. I'm so proud of myself.

    'atta girl.

Have you seen the cards you can print off the internet that let you order off of the kids menu? I do that now and I don't feel so bad when I don't eat all my dinner.

    I still love bread though!

I'm glad to hear that your friends are at least getting temporary help - we all hit those times at least once in our lives, so it's not a bad thing.

Damn, girl, I'm a total goldfish when it comes to food... I'm impressed! *SNAP*!!!

    Keep kicking ass!

    xoxo,

WTG! you did it. You actually went to a restraunt, stayed away from the bread had food left on plate yet I know you had a good time. Even though the food wasnt as good as you remembered. Glad to hear the family has a place to stay. I went to my dad's yesterday and he said we could stay there if we had to. Well hubby and I could with no problems but daughter, her 3 boys ages 4,7,11 and a baby on the way? ummm Im thinking no.
