I've recently become involved with some other blogs. This one is a recipe blog with several contributors. There are some great recipes here.
The other is a blog for people who want to be part of a Michigan blogger meeting. We did this last year and I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we all had an unbelievable time.

I think the Michigan bloggers are a secret clandestine society who are plotting to overthrow jennifer granholm and place barman in charge as the governor.
I have informants who tell me you meet in khaki's and face paint with paintball guns on a large farm outside Lansing.
Of course once barman is in power, signgurl will win a lucrative contract for all the signs in the state, g-man will be awarded a lucrative contract for all the state vehicles and roxie will be the state entertainment director...any questions???????
Not being a Michigander, I prolly can't join your secret society, but I did visit the food blog again and offered my oxtail soup recipe.

Wait Captain, I don't think that would be a good thing for the state at all. Of course there is all my friends... Maybe we could make an adjustment. How about Roxi in charge of communications and you be in charge of entertainment?
Last years blogger meet-up was a good time.
At the last meeting of the secret society it was decided who needs artificial boundaries? Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, New York, Sweden, Australia ... makes no difference. Blogger does not see boundaries, neither do we. We promise not to drag out the secret Michigan handshake.
If you come you will have a good time or your money will be cheerfully refunded. Did I mention there is no cost to join the society so a refund might be pointless.
Eat it and Weep is off to a fine start. I already have my eye on several recipes. You will find some healthy stuff, some not so healthy stuff and much more. Come check out some of your fellow bloogers favorite recipes and maybe share some yourself.
