    I Used to Be Talented

Before I found blogging, I used to spend my nights knitting or doing cross stitch. I made this quilt for my friend's daughter. (Click pictures to enlarge.)

It took me about 70 hours to make this one.

Now I spend my time here harrassing the blog world.

What a wonderful quilt. You have so many talents. Despite how lovely that is, we just don't want to let you go. We need you here. :) Who else is going to keep g-man in line.

That is a really terrific quilt, Jenn. I'll bet your friend was moved to tears. I know what you mean about getting behind in your crafts. I finally got done turning the heel of the first sock of a pair that I've been working on since, uh, November.

You could always go all anatomical and knit this for G-man so that he'd know you always have a womb of his own. ;)

    What a pretty quilt!

I know, I remember things I use to do before blogging...like reading and doing 'stuff'. Sometimes I miss that.

    Awwwww so cute!

I crosstitch too...though I don't work on it nearly as much as I used to. I am still working on an 8x10 baby announcement thing that I started when we got Meghan. It's slightly more than halfway done, and she's 22 months old!

I love your visits to my blog.

    Thanks again.

What a gorgeous quilt! It's soooo beautiful and as someone who does cross-stitch herself, I can certainly appreciate the time and effort that you must have put into it :-)

    Well worth it though...

Wow.. that is a great quilt. For a girl I never learned to sew, knit, crossstitch crochet or anything. I was too busy being a boy learning to hammer saw fix cars yadda yadda yadda. See my parents really wanted a boy!
