I spent the day yesterday volunteering at the school. I wore my new sandals instead of my trusty tennis shoes.
In order to take less time off of work, I combined 3 big events into one day. I used to have to do them over 3 different days because I wasn't physically able to do all of them in one day.
It was field day where the kids compete in sports competitions for ribbons. I had already put up my tent, table and chairs by 8 am. I was running all over trying to get everything together for the honor roll pizza party that took place at lunchtime for 50 kids. During the afternoon field day session, I made 300 sno cones (hauling 125 pounds of ice around).
Then, I had to clean it all up. I could have never done this at my highest weight. My feet were killing me at the end of the day, but I felt like I had accomplished so much.
