Here is my 1st cousin and my uncle giving her away. (I was having a rough time with the focus on my camera and was worried about that.
So, instead, I cut their heads off.)

Here is another 1st cousin (my aunt's daughter).
The bridesmaid dresses were beautiful and the simplicity of the daisies was perfect.

The couple was married by the brides cousins who are in the Salvation Army.
Here is the couple leaving the church.
(Notice that two of the bridesmaids are very pregnant. I hope it's not contagious.)

It was nice of the Salvation Army to give those guys the time off, what with a war going on and all.
It's lucky they weren't in the Salvation Navy, which is way more strict.
What a pretty bride and handsome groom!
I love the green dresses. Explain that whole being married by the cousins in the salvation army thing. Never heard of that before. Is that like a minister?
Zen~ I heard the Salvation Marines are the most strict.
Kimmy~ This whole phenomenon is new to me too. I guess they must be ordained somehow because the whole thing was ligit (as far as I know).
What great pictures! The bride looked beautiful and I loved the bridesmaid dresses....so cute and flattering on everyone.
Even the pregnant girls. ;-)
can't wait to see the reception pics! :)
Great pictures of the Bride and Groom..The green dresses are very nice. You take great pics
Awww the pics were great! The bride and groom looked so happy. Like you, I liked the dresses wuth the daisies. I've never seen that color green in a wedding before!
Oh man, you beat me to it. The wedding I go to this weekend is going to have lime green dresses I believe as their colors are lime green and magenta more or less. I have no idea what the actual colors are but to color blind (not really) me that is what it is.
Funny thing about the colors... I have been going to Louisville, Kentucky for going on 20 years now. Those colors are just about the same as the Derby Festival colors. I brought that up to the bride to be and got a dirty look and you do not want to get a dirty look from Malory.
As to the Salvation Army marrying them... some people will go to any length to get some booty. The Salvation Army, yea right. Good one. And she bought that? Then again, these days who needs to be married to get some?
You know I have never heard of such a thing (being married by the Salvation Army) but looking at the history of the Salvation Army it really does makes sense that this could happen. The evangelical group was formed by a Methodist minister to begin with and his Officers are ministers.
Looking forward to the reception.
Great Pics as always!!
PicGurl...xoxoxox
