    You May Have Noticed...

...that I haven't been around much. I've been out living life.

We spent 8 hours in the car on Saturday, first traveling to Grayling to see Mr. Sign's sister and family. We then traveled to see my sister on her sail boat in Muskegon on Lake Michigan. The whole trip was over 500 miles, in one day.

(I forgot my camera so these were all taken with my phone.
Yeah, I was not really happy with myself.)

First, I got to hold my new grand niece.

Mr. Sign and me on the boat. (The mast was shadowing my face, grrr.)

This is my sister and me after crawling across a 3" wide walk to get to the front of the boat. It was so fun, but you have to hang on for dear life because the waves knock the front of the boat around.

Our fabulous captain who is also my brother in law.

    My sister, in the hole.

The sunset was one of the most gorgeous I've ever seen.

On the way back in, the full moon came out and shone through a hole in the clouds. It made a spotlight on the water. Some boats sailed over to it to be in the moon shine. I've never seen anything like it.

Lake Michigan is one of the most beautiful places I've seen in the world. The vastness of it is amazing. When you are on it, it almost seems like you are on the ocean.

Also, some advice for your homepage.

If you could make your top banner clickable and return to your homepage it would make it easier for your readers to navigate your site. Just my two cents.

Sign, you look beau-tee-ous, baby! So relaxed and vibrant! I have to admit, even though I'm a Buckeye, Lake Michigan is beautiful.

    That baby is soooo sweet!

Oh and I was on Michigans Water Ways this weekend too, just not something as awesome as one of the Great Lakes. I got to go around Kent lake, run out of gas and wonder if we were ever going to get it started again once we switched tanks. But you know what, small lake, big lake, no lake... it was a wonderful weekend in Michigan.
