    Found A Computer

Just a quick note to say that I'm amazed that my parents can make it in life without me. Twice we would have been lost if it weren't for my superb navigational abilities. I'm not even sure they can tie their shoes without my help. Ok, I may be exaggerating a bit but geez, when did my parents get old?

I learned that it's a bad idea for a gastric bypass patient to eat a large meal and get into a car for long stretches without a bathroom. 'Nuff said about that.

The sign show has been ok so far. I learned how to do pin stripping with paint. G-man has offered to let me practice on his Harley. I'm thinking purple background with pink accents. What do you guys think?

I'm glad I've got my ear plugs for tonight. My stepdad is one of the noisiest people I've ever encountered. It's like no one else is around, so make all the sound you can. I think it's because he doesn't hear well and can't hear himself.

We are quite the group. I've had a major issue going on with my neck for the last week. I had the doctor adjust it and the muscles still ache. A few nights ago, I decided to try Tylenol 3. Within 20 minutes of taking it, I was sure I was going to die. I couldn't talk and could barely breathe. It lasted the entire night. I finally realized that this is the 3rd incident I've had with pain killers since having gastric bypass surgery. The last couple of times, I thought it was trapped gas. It's weird because I had never had problems with pain killers before. Anywho, Ted (my stepdad/boss)had to have a root canal yesterday before we left and my mother is having some major stomach trouble. I'm telling you, it's like living in a nursing home to be around all of us. I've got my icy hot patches on my neck and I smell like my grandma.

I had better get back to the room and make sure the 'rents made it there ok without me.

OMG...I am cracking up. I know what you mean about "smelling like your gramma". Sometimes I have to use that cream on my neck. When I crawl into my bed, my husband just groans and turns away so he can't smell me. heheheeh

Hope you feel better soon. And enjoy the rest of your trip.

Well, no better place to complain about ailments than with "old people." ;) Hehehe!!

I really do hope you feel better soon--that sounds miserable, sweetie!
And so many congrats on your "returned" money and more! :)

Sounds like you've got your hands full as well. I hear you on the loudness. I think my mom is losing her hearing as well. When I was younger, I swore that she could hear the grass grow her hearing was so good. By the end of the night, I have a headache from the TV being so loud. Maybe you should send me your drugs...lol!!!

Cotton... that should help with the loudness. Man, problems with pain killers. I wonder if you can take something that is not hard on the stomach. I would hate to see you not able to have pain pills. There are times you really need it.

Hope you feel better soon grandma, oops, I mean Sign. Pin stripping, now that does sound hot. Go for it G-Man.
