    Flash 55, Take 14

She had waited most of her adult life for this day to come.
The last eight months had been nothing but complete
torment to her. She wanted this more than anything.

This one day would change her life forever. She would
    never be the same.

Today is her day. She is having gastric bypass surgery.

    Woot! Way to go Jenn!

What great things do you have planned for this weekend? You always do the most fun thing's. If I weren't so much older than you, I'd ask you to adopt me.

i have been thinking about you so much since reading your post yesterday.
This is such a huge thing for you. A wonderful experience.
to call it life changing is an understatement.
Continue to nurture yourself and do what you have to do so that the mental keeps up with the physical.
I am cheering you along all the way!

i read yesterday's post and have been thinking about the life changing nature of your surgery

i really don't have any conclusions yet, but it dovetails with questions i have been asking:

"are we the same person as we used to be? does changing your physical self change the essential you as a person? if you didn't do things you wanted to before, for whatever reason, and now you do them - are you a different person?"

I am 5'5 and I weigh 186. I have gained 27 lbs from trying to have a second child and have been told that I can't...

    Your site gives me hope.

Would you look at the difference between the before and the current pictures. It is things like that which really hit home.much more than the number of pounds lost. Of course either is Amazing.

Oh and by the way, I revisited your sign making post again seeing as how I will probably be doing something very much like that soon. Thank you.
