    I'm Looped

Tomorrow I'm having a medical procedure done. I'm finally having endometrial ablation. That's girl stuff. Basically, the doctor will be killing the lining of my uterus. This procedure is normally done in the hospital but will be done in the doctor's office because my insurance won't pay the hospitals in my area.

I wasn't nervous until I picked up the prescriptions they are making me take before the procedure. I have issues with taking several narcotics because they cause me to stop breathing. I've only had issues since weight loss surgery with pain meds. I had to start taking meds today. Hence the loopy part. I've got a scopolomine patch behind my ear and I'm on Darvocet right now. I feel all tingly.

The nurse made me more nervous when she talked about the procedure and whether I was nervous about pain. I wasn't until she asked.

Tomorrow I get to take some valium, tordal, darvocet, a cervical block and I'll also get an injection. I can't imagine how stoned I will be after that.

I'm going to let you in on a secret. (I'm only doing this because of the drugs.) My secret is, that if I do ok during this procedure (they are worried about my pain tolerance), I'm having a mole removed from my hoo ha. I've needed it done for a long time, but it was never convenient. What a better time than the present? I can't believe I just told the entire internet about my mole. And no, I'm not posting pictures...or maybe after the drugs...NO, not gonna do it.

I need to go to bed. I can't even make a complete sentence.

Not that, I, being the actual President and CEO of the first and only JackAssery Blogger Association, would EVER take advantage of our official JackAssery Sign maker and good will ambassador to the "normal" world but.........
are you loopy enough to take a pic of your mole yet? I wouldn't ask for myself of course. G man is hold my dog hostage till I get the pic. But....no pressure.

Ok, seriously, take care of yourself and heal up fast. This sounds very uncomfy like. I assume Mr. Sign is keeping a close eye on you for breathing problems. And also let me just say....damned insurance companys! You should be in the hospital where they can keep an eye on you.

good grief, can't they just knock you out? seems like it would be easier than having you walk around doped up for a couple of days.

    fingers crossed.

Toradol is great. It's the big daddy of Motrin. Don't insurances SUCK! I sure would like to have a face to face with some of them.

Anyway, hope you and your hooohaaa survive ;o)

Maybe we can both recover together. One for me, two for you...two for you and three for me ;o)
