    What's Up?

There's not much going on here in blog world lately. I guess we are all busy.

It seems you are all so busy that you haven't noticed that in my blog mania, I've changed my template yet again. I'll forgive you this once. I don't know why I obsess about keeping this here rag fresh, but I guess it's for all of my peeps. When I transferred everything over, I lost all my widgets. Grrr...

So, have you been having the crazy weather we have here? It was 15 degrees Fahrenheit on Friday and we had about 18 inches of snow on the ground. By Sunday, the snow was all gone. Monday, the temp was 61. Today, 51 and lots of rain on top of all the melted snow makes for some very wet basements.

I've been trying to cut back on my fat and carb levels. I think trying to quit both at the same time is making my head hurt. I usually eat nuts on my way home from work. (Not THOSE nuts!!) I stopped eating them based on their high fat content. Man, I miss my nuts (hehe!). But, on a good note, today I got over 100 grams of protein in using only 950 calories. I rock!

I have no nice way to wrap up this here maniacal post, so I'll just bid you adieu.

we've been having that same whacked out fluctuation in the temps. it's nuts.

pretty new header. i'm not crazy about having stuff running down both sides of the screen but that's just my personal preference. i liked your bubbles best. but if this makes you smile i am all for it.

    Wayne~ I'm a nut lover too, hehe!

Kimmy~ We were so lucky to have missed those tornadoes. My basement, however, looks like one hit with all the water we have down there.

    Ell~ Thanks!

Lime~ The jury is still out on the three column template. I like that you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see all the stuff.

Terry~ Sorry to hear that your belly dislikes nuts. They are a little rough on the system.

Katie~ I love a girl that enjoys a good nut now and then.

As a lesbian, I swore of those kind of nuts a long time ago. Love the new look.

I like the new look with the wording in the header a little smaller. It seems so clean.

I could not help but help but remembering a quote from Clueless...

Scene: On a tennis cort in gym class.

Amber: Ms. Stoeger, my plastic surgeon doesn't want me doing any activity where balls fly at my nose.

Dionne: Well, there goes your social life.

I love the new template...very pretty! Our weather, as far as the temp goes, has been extremely warm as well, for this time of the year...but, we are having some serious flooding, dam overflowed, about 30 miles from where I live, people had to be evacuated, serious stuff!

I love your new template. It's so springy and cheery! A note on the nuts. Some may be high in fat, but they are a good fart. Almonds are GREAT for your heart! Eat a dozen or so every day...that's what a lot of cardiologist tell their patients. Kudos to you for that protein. Just be careful though, high protein for too long is hard on the kidneys. Yeah, I know...it the nursie in me!

Crazy weather...3 tornadoes touched down by mom house in WI!!! YIKES and within 5 miles of her too....double YIKES!!!!!

I was here ...maybe yesterday, and saw pink snowflakes. I'm so confused...

I have been way busy. With more fun than not so fun.

Don't fear the nuts! They have fat content, but it is good fat -- especially if you're doing almonds. Just a small handful will do ya! YOu need the fat to help keep things movin'... if you know what I mean.

Man, I don't know what I would do if I had to control for fats as well. 950 calories sounds great. I've been low on protein for the past 2 weeks, as we've had a vegetarian in the house and it's been too many complex carbs in the picture. My weight is stuck - though not up - accordingly. Back to meatland!

Your new layout is very springlike!
