    I'm NOT Old, Bitches!

My best friend called me yesterday to tell me that she and her husband had picked out land to build their retirement home on. Let me repeat, RETIREMENT HOME! She is a year younger than me. I'm only 37! Am I supposed to be planning my golden years ? My funeral?

I just realized that in 20 years I will be 57. Crap! Where did all my time go?

    SHUT UP YOU!

The average life expectancy of the American female born in the '60's is 80 soooo that makes me...MIDDLE FUCKING AGED!!!!!!!

Ha! Wait till you're my age (49)...

Sweet man is 58. He's retiring in a year and a half from 30 years of teaching college.

A year or so ago, he started looking at retirement "communities" in Florida!!!!

I'm like~ "WTF! Who's gonna retire there with you?!?!? I'M not old enough to live there!!!!"

His answer: "but they have 5 golf courses...."

    retirement??!?!?!

    no way.

then again.... wouldn't it be nice to retire now, when we could really make the best of all that free time?

time to go buy a lotto ticket...

Most of mine went having sex.

What's more I plan to spend the rest of my time doing the same. LOL.

But take more care of my knees. ;)

HEY, MISSY! WATCH IT! I'm 54 now.

Egads, woman! This is not how it is anymore. When I'm not suffering from the flu I have more energy now than I had at 24. My body is in better shape because I work out and I have more money to play with. Trust me. Life is goooood at 50 plus.

You are gonna love it! Ya just gotta start preparing all the body parts now in your 30's. That's what I did and it worked out very well.

My main motive was that I didn't want to be dependant on anyone when I hit 90. And I totally plan to be out driving around and having fun at that point in my life, still.

Age is a state of mind. If you think you're getting old, you do. It's truly as simple as that.

Your friends are really jumping the gun on this one if you ask me.

Ok baby, I left a special post for ya over at the cowpie field. Proof positive that 50 plus is in no way a bad thing. Except possibly for some short term memory loss. But what the hell?
