    The Sun'll Come Out

We finally saw some sun yesterday. It was the first since last Thursday. It still supposed to rain for a couple more days.

A combination of the rain, hormones and stress had me in tears all week. I'm not used to be so emotionally out of control. The sun definately cheered me up.

Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain on Friday when we are having the carnival. We put a rain plan in place and hopefully we won't have to use it. It's really muddy though so we may just do it inside anyway.

WTF is up with American Idol? I didn't watch it since I was watching Lost but saw the results this morning. Are only retarded people voting, or what? I'll admit that in the very beginning I was rooting for Taylor just because he seemed so "off". He's definately had his 15 minutes so it's time to get out of the light and back into the psych ward. Since my boy Chris was kicked off (and Mandisa before that) I'm totally boycotting it. There's just no way real people are voting.

Some people have asked what my next step is in the qualifying process for gastric bypass surgery. Next Tuesday I have an appointment with the internist. Thursday I have an appointment with my primary care physican for my yearly exam and this time he will do an EKG and a head to toe exam (whatever that is). It seems that I will be poked and prodded in every orifice next week. I can't wait. *insert eyeroll here* After that, all information will be turned into the insurance company for them to either deny or approve me for surgery. If approved, surgery will be scheduled hopefully sooner than later.

I still haven't had much time to visit blogs but hopefully things will slow down a bit but not til after June 8th.

Jenn, I don't watch American idol so I can't comment. Not sure if we can get it over here.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well and that they don't poke you too hard.

As for the mud, why not indulge in some mud wrestling. That will pull in the crowds. :)

never underestimate the idiocy of the general public. I think the whole show is kind of stupid ... if someone is talented enough, they will make it in the music business ... look at all the sucky ones who've made it!

    and have a great carnival!

No shit! I'm done with Idol this season, I just can't stomach another minute of Taylor. I also stated that if he wins I'm done with Idol forever. I think it's all the blue hairs in nursing homes who rush to vote as soon as the show is over. I can't see the young kids voting for him-he's a total douche.

I am totally with you on the American Idol thing!

Sign, if you go to the idol message board you can see where these teeny boppers get a bunch of their friends together each week to try and knock off one of the better ones. I had heard that might be going on but after Chris I dug in and started reading the boards. Sure enough. They do it. I was very sorry to see Mandessa go also. Man, could that gal sing! phew!

So this surgery is really gonna keep you hoppin, huh? I knew there was a lot to it but I had no idea how many steps you had to take before it could actually be done. makes sense.

Personally, I think you're absolutely gorgeous now. When I put your face on Pamela Anderson's body I thought, Whoa! hope Pam never sees this. She'll feel bad. If you go and get yourself some fab model body on top of the way you already look, I'm afraid you won't talk to us anymore. LOL!

    Never forget.... the little people.

Madame~ Thanks for the support, sweetie.

Suze~ The mud wrestling could be fun for the adults but I'm afraid the rugrats might get an eyeful (pun intended)!

DZER~ I personally don't think it's that easy to make it in the music business. Right now if you don't have a grill, naked bod ies and profanity, you can't have a career.

Nonny~ You know something is rigged when true talent is voted off and idiots like Taylor stay. I feel an Idol shake up coming on.

Gary~ I hope I pass too. It gets tougher as we get older.

Weed~ I knew you were a Chris fan. He's hot even if he's married.

Sal~ You can take off the pants too ;-) That always seems to help.

Crabcake~ Thanks for the nice compliments. I am really not having the surgery to change my appearance. I'm doing it for the health benefits and to get back the life that I let slip away.

That rain thing and all the junk in the air has been hitting me hard too. I can not wait to get this behind us. Good luck on the Carnival.

I liked Taylor from the begining and still do. I would love to see him win. At the same time I hated to see some of the people in the past go. It has come and gone for me however. I used to like Pickler and Kevin Corbain but then could not wait for them to go. With all the manipulation by the teens (you could tell when Pickler was terrible and finished in the top three) I just do not get the point in watching. This has been my first and probably last season. I never did like reality shows.

Thanks for the update. I continue to think of you and wish you well always. Keep ticking off those steps. It will be over before you know it.

    Yo woman.

I'll send some more sunshine your way as soon as I finish my Solar Voo Doo Doll.

Take your time with the blogging just as long as you frequent MY bloggy. (I'm a selfish whore. That's the way things work sometimes. *shrugging*)

That head to toe exam is just verbage used to placate insurance companies. If the doc's a hottie, request some firm exploration of the boobage.
