    Whew!

Last week was a barrel full of revelations here on this blog. I have been inundated with emails and comments of support. You cannot know how much it means to me that you actually took the time to speak to me, even if it was just a short note of hello.

I'm truly appalled and sickened by the shear number of people who expressed their stories of abuse. I believe that people think molestation is on the decline since most people choose not to speak about it. However, as we can see from the comments on the post below, it's more prevelant than ever.

The nature of the crime dictates that the victim become a silent mourner for his or her innocence.

    And Seque..........

It's time to bring this baby (the blog) back to the present and get on with having some fun!

Mr. Sign and I went back up to Northern Michigan yesterday to pick up the girls from his sister's house. Mr. Sign's nephew was there along with his new wife and baby. The baby is only 4 months old but her motor skills are that of an 8 month old. She's absolutely beautiful with a personality to go along with it.

Holding her made me reminisce about my girls when they were babies. Our nephew is a tall lanky man of 22 and his wife is very slender. She remarked about being so bony that the baby had a hard time cuddling. I laughed and said that I'd never had that problem. It took the little one a few minutes to find a comfy spot on my bosom and she was out like a light. Her mother was a little put off by the comfort that my chest seemed to give her baby.

I had to laugh as the baby found her comfortable spot on me. It reminded me of a time in high school when a boy that I had a huge crush on told me I was "comfy", not bony. It crushed me. Now I realize, it was a compliment.

Did anyone think about the fact that this baby makes me a Great Aunt? Let's just call me Auntie, kay?

    Oh honey....welcome to my world.

I have seven nieces and nephews, and SIX, yep, count 'em, Six 'grand' nieces and nephews...but to me, they are all nieces and nephews since I am far too young to be a grand anything...unless you are calling me a grand dame!

I only have one nephew. You know who that is. I only hope he finds his way in life. You know really pulls it together before he has any children.

I am sorry I missed your last post. I do need to stop being so neglectful. I am sorry you had to go through that sweetie.

What Madame said. Anyone would be lucky to have you as an Aunt. And great, regardless if it is said or not, is just a given.

I think you and I are sisters separated at some point in our lives!

My niece was maybe two when she was laying comfortably on me and said, "You got nice pillows."

Jenn, who wouldn't want to cuddle you.

I try to hug my little nephew but he wants to be running off all the time. The little bugger.

At least I don't try to clean his face with spit and a hanky. LOL

Hope you are feeling better this week. *hugs*
