    Life Is Good

Daughter #2 had a youth symphany concert last night. The group sounds amazing. You would never believe that they are high school kids.

Barman was able to attend. (For those that don't know, we live in the same city and met throughBlogger.) He made me feel even better by telling me I was looking great (he may have been lying, but let's just say that it was a genuine compliment) and he's seen me before so he could judge.

I went shoe shopping today and bought two pairs. I never do that but both pairs were on sale (1 pair of work shoes and 1 pair of dress shoes). I bought a couple of Christmas gifts too.

Speaking of Christmas, I've been all over this state chasing the elusive Nintendo Wii. Now I know that some of you (Nonny) think this is an inferior gaming system that makes you look like you are having seizures when you play. I think it would be good for the kids to actually move while playing.

Back to the shopping, every store gives you a different date that they will have more. I can't tell you how depressing it is to watch a family walk out of the store with 3 systems. Bastards! I think I'm about to give up. This thing is harder to find than Janet Reno's g-spot.

Signgurl, you have to be careful about buying anything to wear, even shoes. Because when you start dropping those pounds, everything shrinks, even the feet!...Is'nt it great?

    Reno has a G-spot? ewwwwwwww.

How come you're out shopping during Tweener Week, Sign? You know it's against Tweener rules which clearly state, no shopping.

    HAPPY TWEENER WEEK, Sign. WOOT!

G-Man~ I have already lost 1/2 a shoe size. The trouble is that I needed work shoes now, not in 8 months, lol.

    Crabcake~ I dunno. Isn't Janet Reno a man, baby?

My daughter's friends bought a Wii system after waiting in line for eleven hours.

    Guess they really wanted one.

I watched a bunch of them play some games on it during the holiday. They never sat down. ;-)

I think it's cool that Barman came to your daughter's event. That's really sweet. :)

This is the second time I have seen her daughter perform. The group of increadable. I have never seen a high school group do so well and this a group of mostly area high school students and grade school members. They all must pass an audition and it shows. They are all super. Signs daughter is no exception as last year she was one of those who were from grade school. It was great seeing her play her instrument. Unfortunetly I came late because I got lost and could not see her real well.

Anyway Sigh I never say something I do not mean. You are looking so super. What a great start you are off to. I was happy I had a chance to see you yesterday and of course Mr Sign and the whole family. Thank you Sign.

Oh the Wii, it may be pretty hard to find. I know one of the Detroit area Meijer stores had 6 of those things and they had over 500 people show up for them. Good luck but then I bought a TV that had every bit as bad of odds. They should put a limit of 1 on this thing until they get more.
