    Milestones

I have tried not to post too much about my weightloss here. Even though it's the focus of my life right now, I don't want to bore people. I do have a place where I post that stuff that will remain confidential until I feel like I can share it.

So, today I have reached a couple of milestones:

    • I have lost 75 pounds, the most I've ever lost at one time.
    • I weigh less now than I have in over 10 years.
    • The jeans I am wearing are 5 sizes smaller.
    • My bra band size has gotten smaller while the cup size has remained the same.
    • Mr. Sign convinced me to walk around the entire mall. We ended up going twice around. (I could barely make it from the parking lot to the door without breaking a sweat before.)
    • Sex is amazing when there is less of both of us.
I realize that most of you are astounded by losing 75 pounds in just over 3 months. That's a huge amount. I made no bones about the fact that I had a lot to lose. I still have lots more to go.

OMG...good for you! You have achieved a lot. Both you and your hubby should be very proud of yourselves.

5 sizes smaller...that HAS to make you feel skinny ;o)

Wow - 75 lbs?!? That's fantastic! This whole WLS is amazing, isn't it?

First! Your weight loss updates are NOT boring. I like reading about them because it is something real and solid!

Second! YAY, Your cup size stayed the same. I gain in my face and belly first, when I lose, the girls shrink first.

Third! I am so happy you are able to walk farther...Hmmm, the mall...does this mean you're buying me present's? I like suprises. My shoe size is in between a 5 and 6, just in case you need to know. I wear in between a 10 and 12 pant and I prefer my sweater's tight. (to show my girls off better) LOL

Fourth! I would ask for more sex detail's, but that would be wrong. I will not hold it against you if you want to share these. Sometime's, you just have to let it all out. LMAO

First of all, tomorrow is HNT, Let us be the puppy judge.
    Secondly, updates are NOT boring..

Thirdly sexual details are great, just because Manny doesn't want to hear anything about sex don't mean squat!
WE are sooo proud Jenn..You Rock even more....G

g-FYI, I said asking would be wrong, I didn't say I didn't want to hear about them...Mr. and Mrs. signs' that is. You on the other hand...well you are just a tad bit to eager to share. LMAO

Here I am again, laughing out loud to myself.

How wonderful! As a fuller figure woman, I know how hard it is to lose that amount of weight! It took me a year to lose 100lbs, but I did it! :0) Congrats on all of your acheievements!

Hey anytime you have something to share, please post away. This is part of your life now so I would love to hear about it... anytime, really.

Isn't that amazing. 75 pounds is a lot and look at the difference. I am surprised Kristen did not ask about the shopping! Oh and the sex, hey between the two of you, you have lost between 100 and 150 pounds total. That has to make a huge difference. Congratulations and keep it up. Hum... pun intended I suppose.

Can't wait for your next update Sign.

Jillie~ I'm not feeling skinny but I do feel much better.

Danyele~ You are not doing so bad yourself!

Manny~ I'm LMAO at you about wanting to hear details. Maybe we'll make a movie someday. There has to be a market for chubby porn. Ewwww...

G-Man~ No details about sex for you!

    Manny~ Bwhahaha!!

Miss 1999~ You lost 100 pounds? That is so awesome!!! Congrats!

    Kristen~ Thanks!

Donna~ You are doing so well yourself! I'm glad we are on this trip together.

    Bardouble29~ Thank you so much!

Terry~ You are right, this is a huge part of our lives. You don't realize how much everything you do revolves around food.

BTE~ I knew you would be excited about the cup size ;)

Cad~ I so appreciate your support. It means a lot since I know you are working on yourself as well.

Barman~ Between Mr. Sign and me, we have lost a total of 150 pounds! (He just hit 75 pounds lost this morning.) That is a whole person.

Just a little note to let everyone know that my morning has sucked already. I had to drop daughter #1 off at school this morning and I slid around the curve in the parking lot and hit another car (it was slippery). The guy didn't even get out of his car to look. He just yelled at me. I don't think his car was too bad as I clipped the rear bumper with the side of my van. The van does have slight damage to it. Mr. Sign is going to kick my butt for this!

Craig D~ I'm looking forward to more post weighloss sex, thanks.

YOU ROCK! I saw a "Strong Medicine" (tv show) where a couple went in to have gastric bypass. She was first up and did very well. Even adapted to the new eating habits. He continued to gorge while waiting for his surgery. Eventually when she got out he tempted her with foods she wasn't supposed to eat, meaning no harm but unable to adjust to their new situation. She ended up back in the hospital. In the end, he didn't have the surgery and she broke up with him because she felt he was bad for her.

Long story but the point of it is, that show brought home how hard it is to do something like this. And what a tremendous commitment it is.

I am sooo proud of you!

    Congratulations!

My brother had surgery to lose a bunch of weight. He lost about 300 pounds.
It was life changing for him.

    Best of luck to you.

    SignGurl said...

Tina~ When we decided to have the surgery, we did it for health reasons and because we wanted to be active with our kids. I'm so glad we did this.

Sal~ Things are always looking "up" in my house. Mr.Sign's Sicilian.

Crabcake~ The first thing after surgery, the surgeon warns you that those closest to you will be the one's that sabotage you. Not that they mean to but they want you to be happy. Food is happiness to most.

I'm so glad Mr. Sign and I did this together.

Section306g~ 300 pounds? That is truly amazing! Thanks for stopping by.

This is for the whole world to see. What Jenn is doing took a lot of courage and soul searching. I am proud to have her as a friend, and one of the highlights of my life will be when I hold her puking head over the toilet because of all the shots of Cuervo that I buy for my Signgurl when the Michigan Bloggers meet. And if need be, all of the weight that she has lost, will enable me to physically transport her safely, without doing further damage to my already bulging hernia. I'm so proud of you Jenn.

Sign, you are the bomb! You and Mr. Sign have great courage. Please, please, please continue to share with us.

I am sooooo hoping to meet you at the blog party! First jello shot is on me...can you drink? My friend who had this done couldn't at first, but she does a little bit now. Just a little, but don't if you can't.

Did this make any sense at all? I am way over worked.

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling so super! I know first-hand, what it's like to feel reborn through weight-loss.
