    Flash 55, Take 5

Jake was known for his physical abilities. After a hard day's work, his bulging biceps were aching. He sighed heavily knowing that the second he got home, demands would be placed on him.

"How would he stay awake?", he thought as he yawned.

He trudged up the steps and slowly opened the door.

    "Daddy's home!"

Check out the other Flash 55's here.

I'm whoring myself out. Here is the link to the blog interview. It's a pretty cool site for checking out new blog addictions and ones you already possess.

    Jenn,
Those words were often said upon my arrival home after a hard days work....They were music to my ears, and I'll never forget them...
I'd give anything to hear them again.....
    Thanks sweetie..Great 55.
    Did you tell Susie?

Great writing and instant pay off at the end. I love your 55. You know it is funny, even though a pet (mostly a dog) can not talk, you just know they are saying the very some thing to their self when you get home. I do not know what brought that to my mind but there you have it.

What a beautiful 55! And how true that is. But for me, when I get home, it's a house full of dogs and a cat. They are wagging their tails so fast and hard to see me that what little bit of energy I had left instantly escalated.

Great story and happy Friday to ya!

When my daughter was little, she once said "Milk's home!" when Mr Ratburn came in from work with her beloved carton of milk!

We still say it everytime he comes home now!
