Last week I was able to buy clothes from the regular sized women's department. I got 4 shirts (size XL and 2 pairs of jeans (size 16) for $40. I used to spend $40 on one pair of jeans. I really needed to buy a large but I'll try to shrink the XL. The jeans are really cute, but shrunk as I expected after washing. They fit perfectly.
I'm hoping that tomorrow will be better than last year's Thanksgiving. I don't expect to have any adversity regarding my weight. Most of my family has seen me lately.
I've been feeling pretty great except that I've got laryngitis and a sinus problem. It's weird that I get viruses in my chest now since surgery.
I can't believe I've lost 177 pounds in just over 12 1/2 months. That's crazy! I wish I'd had faith enough to know how great things would be one year out from weight loss surgery.
I have so much to be thankful for this year. I am able to be a better mother, wife, daughter and employee because of the benefits of weight loss surgery. I have two intelligent, healthy daughters and a husband who loves me with all of his heart.
