Walking today, I had an epiphany. More things have gone seriously haywire in my life. I've had to look inside and dig deeper than I've ever had to.
I came up with this quote to help me learn to deal with life as it comes:
*My happiness is contingent only on the moment. At this moment, life is good.
Mr. Sign laughed at my quote but I really feel that it sums up the way I feel about life. To me, it means not looking at the past nor the future, but living in this moment in time, learning to be happy with what I have right now.
*I'm pretty proud of this quote and the fact that I came up with it all by myself. I always failed quotes in English class
Mr. Sign and I went for a walk last night and took some pictures that I'll be using later this month for my 2 year weight loss surgery anniversary. Some of them look like Senior pictures.
We also got the chance to have dinner together at the Irish pub.
So, at this moment, life is good....

Yeah for life is good!!!
I'm glad to see pics of you two together. How is he doing with his weight loss? and your momma. How is she??? I think about them often.
Can't wait to see the pics!
Looking great, dear, I'm sorry to hear things are difficult at the moment. I've learned during the hard time to remember that "This too shall pass." I hope things look up soon. Hang in there and God bless.
Sunshine
That is an awesome mantra to follow.
Mine is a little Latin number Carpe Lesbians or something like that....
I enjoy your blog. It is nice to see pics of Mr. Sign. Have been wondering about his weight loss, and your mammas.
Hope things continue on the up and I do like your quote. Sometimes we are so busy with preparing for the future that we don't enjoy the now.
Ciao
i am glad to hear it. may there be many more good moments all strung together.
thanks also for giving me some good moments in sending the birthday wishes my way.
How sweet is that! To see you & Mr. Sign enjoying a quite date!
Indeed, Present is all that matters. The past is dead & gone, the future too is not there as it has not yet arrived. the only thing that remains is an eternal present!
Good, bad, ugly... you are alive and doing well. Good for you and glad you were able to get out yet again. It is beautiful out there as is your favorite trail system. Whoo Hooo.
Both picture look wonderful, especially the second one.
What great pictures! Remember things happen for a reason... it's not always abundantaly clear why, but in time you'll get clarity. :)
Love it! Can I steal that great quote Jenn? Living in the moment is a great way to look at life and what it throws at us. You my friend are one of my favorite bloggers. Your bright, honest, beautiful and just a delight. Your stepping up and taking care of you! Can't wait to see all the pictures you and your hubby took. I love the one of you and your hubby...it's cute. Peaking into the camera. Fun times.
Keep taking care of you in every way Jenn!
Love ya :)
Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment

Your looking good Jenn. I still have so much to do before I get there. But I am bound and determined this month(after I heal) will be the month I get started!
I think I need to borrow your quote and try to live up to it. You are right, happiness is a choice.
Love the picture of you and your husband.
You are so pretty Jenn.
Of course life is good...You guys are sitting in a fucking Bar!!!
I think the quote is outstanding
That's a great quote! It totally fits what I was thinking this morning as I drove to Ben's school. Slow down. Look around you and enjoy what you see/hear/feel. LIFE! Can I use the quote too?
I like the quote, and I REALLY like your pictures.
In my best Billy Crystal...
"You look mawbulous!
