    200th Post, Bitches!

Ok, so I had planned on doing something over the top for my 200th post but nothing exciting has happened lately. Bleah! So, I will make this post like most of my others, about me.

We had wicked weather here last night. It started at 10:30 pm when I heard the wind come up and not a minute later I heard Mr. Sign yell up to me that we had better get the awning on the deck down. He was about 30 seconds too late. The wind had already whipped it around and twisted the frame. We did get it down before the lightning hit.

The storms went on until about 5 am. The lightning was incredible but not favorable for sleeping. I awoke to my step dad (also my boss) calling to tell me not to come to work because they were without power until at least Thursday. Woohoo!!! Oh, wait, I need money. I want to work!

The other reason I wanted to work was that Mr. Sign was taking the girls up to his sister's in northern lower Michigan (a 180 mile trip, one way) and I really didn't want to go. The girls are staying for the week and they have never stayed with anyone other than my parents before.

I had no choice but to make the two and a half hour drive. We got a mile away from home and had to turn around so #1 could get her headphones. We hit construction within 3 miles of our house and a work truck weaved and nearly sideswiped our van. Mr. Sign was yelling as I dodged part of the truck that flew off and almost hit the windshield. Another few miles later, a bird flew directly into the windshield leaving a large splat. A while later, a large piece of metal was directly in the middle of the freeway blocking both lanes making all traffic come to a complete stop to get around it. I was beginning to think someone was trying to tell me something.

We stopped at a favorite place for lunch that has an excellent buffet/ hog trough. I'm not exaggerating when I say that some of everything I ate ended up on the front of my blouse. I was a mess as I laughed hysterically and wiped the last of lunch off. We had to make a side trip to find me a new shirt that took us 20 miles out of our way. I just let it all roll off my back.

We made it to my sister in law's and within an hour #2 had two chipmunks eating out of her hand (this isn't her because I didn't bring the camera). We left our beauties and made them swear to be good.

Mr. Sign and I laughed the entire way home since I had slept little and I become even more of an idiot with lack of sleep. We were talking about moose being in the Upper Penninsula and I was trying to explain that there are almost as many car accidents involving moose as deer. It came out like moose/deer accidents. Mr. Sign was picturing a moose banging into a deer (yes, that kind of bang). He's such a pervert. That's why I like him ;-P

I tried to get him to stop and "rest" but he had to get back for class. All that talk of moose "banging" made me randy. Poor me.

I'd have to rate this post as uneventful for a 200th, but in keeping with this blog's theme, why would you expect anything else?

~ Update ~ This blog hit 30,000 somethings tonight. I'm not sure if it's page views or visitors. Not that it matters, just sayin'.

Moose/Deer banging is prety exciting. LOL

You guys are too cool. I knew there was something I liked about Mr Sign.

I could not believe yesterday. My weather radio alarm was almost constantly going off until going on Midnight. The blowing winds and lightening was something else. For some reason when I went to sleep after midnight I fell asleep fairly easily which is unusual for me. I had no idea there was storms through 5:00 am. That explains why it looked so wet this morning.

I am glad it got cooler but I could have done without the extra excitement.

I have a ways to go. Something like 40 or 50 more to ho. Happy 200th SG.

    200?

    Cool! Congrats!

You are so much braver than me. If all that shit had happened while I was driving, I would have turned the van around and gone home! :)

Your lightening shot's make me want to go storm chasing again. We were getting hit pretty hard here not too long ago.

30,000 hit's. Damn! And to think I would be happy just getting more comments. LMAO.

Congrats on 200 posts-that's awesome. I'm at 180 or there abouts.

I'd say this was fairly exciting. That's alot to happen in one 24 hour period.

    Hey Sexy!

Chimpmunks are little rats, you know that right?

Now I have a vision of a tiny male dear screwing the brains out of a giant female moose.
    HOT!
