I haven't been around much to visit my blog buddies. This is my busiest time of the year with all the school stuff going on. I'd love to put my schedule here but it would tire me out. I fall into a heap at night.
I need to brag about my girls. Skip this part if you must. Daughter #2 was on the news last week for a program that her school did. The kids collected money to buy phone cards to send to the soldiers. #2 gave the most money (her own) in the school. The kids were able to buy over 10,000 minutes for the troops. I had a tear in my eye when I watched the piece. She seemed all grown up. This is her last year in elementary school. *sniff* She's getting so old.
#1 made the freshman softball team and even though the team isn't doing well, she's had some really good plays. We found out that she was voted Viking of the Month for May so we will go to a breakfast in her honor on the 10th. She will also be receiving some sort of Freshman award on the 15th. #1 will also play with the Mid-Michigan Youth Symphony this Tuesday after playing the first game of a double header in softball.
You can see just with what little I told you above, that things are quite hectic. Four more weeks until school is out. Take a deep breath......find a happy place....

I just spent 7 hours at a softball tournament with the wind whipping. I have dirt in every crevice.
We worked in the concession stand. Hot Dog anyone?
I'm feeling much better. I'm getting my energy back. I still have some pain in my right side. The doctor said that I will feel that for up to 8 weeks.

That is absolutely super news about #1 and #2. You have raised two wonderful daughters and you should be very proud of them.
Any time you get a chance to jump in for a moment I sure appreciate it but with a schedule like that I sure would not worry about it. We are not going anywhere.
I totally know what you mean...it should be winding down at school but it seems everything is in full force.
