    Difference

What a difference a week makes in the park where I walk.

You may remember this picture from my flood walk:

This is what the path looked like today:

You can see how wet the area still is. I like the smell because it reminds me of Spring. I think Mother Nature is confused. I know I am.

I pushed myself to walk a different part of the trail tonight.
I was surprised to find a sign that told me how far I had walked:

I ended up walking more than 6 miles. I'm so amazed at how easy it is for me to push myself a little further every day. Keep in mind that I worked out in the morning and then worked standing on my feet all day before walking. My energy level can only be compared to dynamite at this point. I thank myself every day for having the courage to change my life by having weight loss surgery.

That is made of awesome! So are you.

I've been adding weight... muscle that is. Been doing hella push-ups at work. already gone from 2X-3X to 3X-4X in shirts... that's a 19 inch neck 19 1/2 for comfort though....

What you have accomplished is so impressive. And to be able to have the stamina you do is just incredible. I was tired just reading about your day. And Jenn, you look beautiful while you are doing it all. I love the bottom picture, you are so pretty.
Now, put your feet up and rest alittle.

You know I heard they had activities on the trail over the weekend and I was surprised it was going to be in any shape to do that. How great to get things back to normal more or less. You are doing a wonderful job of the exercise. Remember when you fist had the surgery you were not doing a lot of exercise. Even from that time you have come so very far with the exercise. You are amazing.

I think you need to stop giving all the credit to the surgery. Your the one that has stepped up and made the changes you needed to make to loose the weight. I saw a show the other day about people that had the surgery and many of them balloon back up, because they think they can go back to their old ways. Congratulations!
