    Wedding Weekend

My 1st cousin on my mother's side got married this past weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony that my whole family was involved in. The girls handed out the programs and bubbles and Mr. Sign was an usher.

I got the nerve wracking job of being in charge of the music during the ceremony. Before you go all, "Holy crap, SignGurl sings!", let me tell you, they paid me not to. I just had to play the right music at the right time. I was up in the belfry sweating bullets that I wouldn't press play and hear "Baby's Got Back" as the bride walked down the isle. Luckily, everything went very smoothly.

Here are some pictures from the rehearsal and the wedding.

These are my cousins and me waiting for direction. The bridesmaids wore pink shirts with their names on them and the groomsmen wore blue to the rehearsal:

Because Mr. Sign works too far away, I had to fill in for him during the rehearsal. This is me escorting my aunt down the isle to be seated:

I was also chosen to be one of the decorators for the reception:

The bride was absolutely beautiful (yes, I took this picture. Pretty good, eh?):

    The bridesmaids were equally gorgeous:

My grandparents cleaned up pretty nicely:

Our family didn't look too bad either:

    Me and my sister:

Here is a picture that has never been done in my lifetime. It's my step dad, me and my dad:

    My sister, mom and me:

Whew! There are so many more, but I'll leave you with these pictures for today. I may post more this week.

Beautiful pictures! My "last supper" was at a wedding in which my whole family participated lol.

My daughter's best friend (the daughter of one of MY best friends) got married. My DD Lauren was maid of honor, my DS Aaron played keyboard before during and after the outdoor wedding (he's not had lessons, he plays by ear!), my DH was an usher and I sang the song for their first dance. We had a blast!

I see nothing wrong with playing "Baby Got Back" while the bride walked down the aisle!

You look gorgeous, that dress you wore was extremely flattering!

I love all your pictures Jenn!

You have a rehearsal for your weddings out there???

If we had one, I'm sure every bride would be a runaway bride, because our weddings are such a a torturous affair for the brides specially!

Your dad and step dad don't look very happy. How in the world did you put that one off?

Wonderful job with that camera. Very nice and ... oh my, lovely bride for sure. And the brides maids even looked normal. Wonderful wedding. Oh and who is that handsome devil in the one picture with you... oh you, your hubby. You guys do make a great looking family there Sign.

You almost made me snort when you mentioned baby got back. You are so funny. Glad it worked out.

The Dad and Step Dad picture is amazing.

Mona, the rehearsal is usually not a big thing. Just lining people up, practice walking in and knowing when to do what, and maybe some instructions on readings or things that are going to be played, etc. Nothing scary here.
