19 Years

I am reposting last year's anniversary post. Let's just say that my outlook on marriage is not what it used to be. That's all I'm going to say about that.

It's funny how fast time flies. Today marks our 19th wedding anniversary. You can read about our wedding day here and read about how we met here.

I scanned a few pictures from our honeymoon in Aruba. Despite the fact that I had cracked ribs sustained from wearing a medieval torture device (i.e. long line bra) and Mr. Sign's case of food poisoning, we managed to have a beautiful trip.

Here we have me in front a poinsettia tree.
There aren't many pine trees in the tropics.
(Have you ever seen someone wear their pants higher than that? I probably didn't need a bra since my shorts covered my girls.)

I have no idea what was going on with that one sided braid.
Keep in mind it was the late 80's. Maybe I was starting a fashion trend?

The only thing nice I can say about this picture is that I'm super tan.

This is our cake. It was my favorite part of the wedding. It cost twice as much as my dress and tasted like sawdust, but it was gorgeous.

We paid a lot of money to have this picture taken so I have to put it in every anniversary post for the rest of my life.

We've weathered many crazy days with grace.
I can't imagine a day without seeing your face.

You've protected me like no one else would.
You helped me to see what no other could.

Thank you for these last many years
and for kissing away my glistening tears.

Without you, I don't know where I'd be.
I hope that you will forever stay with me.
