You Say It's Your Birthday!

The first time I saw G-Man around Blogland, I couldn't really get a feel for who he was. Normally, my sixth sense kicks in and I know immediately if I'm going to become friends with someone.

I commented a time or two on his blog where he posted about once a week. Suddenly, this guy was everywhere! He had marked his territory at almost every blog I visited by being the first to comment. His comments made me smile if not outright laughs. He is great at making people feel good. His comments always have a positive spin and I know he brightens many faces with smiles.

Not long after I started commenting on his blog, I received an email giving that instructed me to call any time. Since it was an 800 number, I thought, "What the hell!" and threw caution to the wind. As I dialed up this potential maniac (you never know what you are going to get in this crazy world), I was pleasantly surprised to find that this guy was friendly and sincere. He really was as nice as his on-line persona.

In March, I had the honor to have lunch with him and Barman.



Throughout this past year, G-Man has become endeared to many of us here in Blogland. I'm one of the lucky ones who gets to know him in person.
