I wrote this 55 in ode to my wonderful new electric blanket (you thought it was about my blow up doll, didn't you?). Nothing is better than cranking that sucker up to high about an hour before I'm going to jump in. It's heaven I tell ya. I've never needed a heated bed before but losing so much body fat has me freezing all the time. The worst part is that I think about my blankie all day long, wishing I was under it. Is it too early to climb in?
I have a busy weekend. I'm going to the Michigan State University hockey game tonight with friends and then to dinner. Tomorrow night is the annual Euchre tournament. I will be the winner!

I thought blanket all along although I had not yet headed electric blanket. I do somewhat similar only I have a heated mattres pad. I missed my water bed with all the nice heat. I thought the mattress pad would be the next best thing. I too crank it on early and let it warm things up. Ah, how nice and toasty.
Have fun with the game and the Euchre. Boy it has been a while since I played. I forget, does the person with the most 9's win? hehehe

Oooooh! I knew it wasn't the obvious, but I didn't know what it was... I don't have an electric blanket, but for my birthday last fall my sister gave me an electric heating pad. I put it under the mattress pad at the foot of my bed, and I turn it on for its 30 minutes of warmth every night while I fall asleep... just a little kick-start to get the bed warm so I don't freeze my tootsies. Love it, Sign!

I have never used an electric blanket before. I remember always wanting one and my mom telling me "No, they will burn the house down." I'm a big girl now, and I'm still afraid.
