I must be getting old because I can't for the life of me input word verification correctly the first time. Sometimes it takes me 3 times to get it right. It starts out looking like this:
If I'm lucky I can get it when it looks like this:
because if I don't, it's going to look like something written in Aramaic. Is it just me having these problems?
I know that people think it stops the spammers, but I haven't had any spam in quite a while and I don't have WV. If I get one, I use the little trash can that allows me as blog administrator to delete any comment.

I really really hate WV. I will never have it on my blog, and I rarely ever get spam. I think maybe three or four times ever since I've been on Blogger. I can't ever get it right either.

yes I have the same trouble and trying to get it right 4 times. Sometimes I lose my comment because I get it wrong and the page goes blank. Grr Are you having trouble with the spell checker in blogger, cause mine for weeks does not work. Wondering if anyone else is having trouble with spell checker??? Have a good Wed. friend! Susy

It seems to be strange. I have some peoples blogs that seem to have the nastiest word verification. Other people I just get simple things. Go figure.
Here is what I do. If I ever get a nasty WV that I do not even want to attempt, I simply type in a character, like B, then I click publish. It does not seem to care and then it just offeres me another word. I do that until the word at least looks doable. Oh and on one persons blog (Laura) I seem to take at least 2 times, maybe 3 to get it. I am beyond amazed the few times I do get it in one try.
My blog is not that popular so I do not get a lot of spam but just by not alowing annonmous I rarely get spam now. Before I was getting it on a somewhat regular basis. I hope to never go to WV.
OMG Do I have that? Do you have to verify to post a comment on my blog? I seriously don't know...
I only screw it up once in a while. And usually I know ahead of time when it's going to reject me cause it was questionable to begin with. lol

I have lot's of trouble with WV. Sometimes, after 4 or 5 tries, it'll give me a real easy one and call me a dumbass. LOL

i have only gotten spam or unwanted comments a few times in all my years
it's a real pain in the ass when you're trying to comment on someone's blog and they put up these silly radblocks

I am soooooo with you on this. What do people really think that they're doing by forcing those of us who wish to comment to participate in a stupid act of obedience. It's sooo dumb.
I have the same trouble sometime. Sometimes it really ticks me off because I'm certain I DID enter it correctly then it comes back with a new one saying I missed it. Grrr... =)
