This is the third installment of 100 Ways Wednesdays. I'm in the process of listing 100 ways my life has been changed by weight loss. I will have a new list of 10 every week until I reach one hundred.
I'm encouraging people to list their own 100 ways. It could be 100 ways your life is better because of being a parent. Or, 100 ways your life is better because of your education.
A few people are doing their own lists, including SnowElf, Pam, Susy, Donna and Yippeeskip. Please check them out as they are all kinds of awesomeness.
On with my list. You can see the beginning of the list here and part 2.
21 ♦ People I've known for years do not recognize me.
22 ♦ I have amazing amounts of energy.
23 ♦ My current ring size is a 5. My old ring size was an 8.
24 ♦ Getting in and out of bed is no longer a cumbersome duty.
25 ♦ I wake up feeling refreshed instead of feeling like I need a nap.
26 ♦ Parking far away from my destination is a good thing.
27 ♦ My next meal is not planned while my mouth is still full of the previous meal.
28 ♦ Weight loss surgery has taught me the importance of protein in my diet. Why doesn't the food pyramid teach this?
29 ♦ I have kicked my soda/caffeine addiction. I haven't had either since October 2006.
30 ♦ My kids are not embarrassed to say that I'm their mom because of my weight. (They still have other reasons for being embarrassed.)

Wow, let me focus on one thing. Would you look at that face. My what a huge, huge change and that is not even the best part. And my how your children have grown. Makes you feel good how much more a part of their life you can be now with all that extra energy. You go SignGurl.
Jenn...
You and #1 could be mistaken for sisters...
Have a GREAT day...xox
love this list yet again!! you are amazing, my dear. and all you have accomplished is truly inspiring. thanks for being you. :)
wow, that's amazing to think how much even you HANDS have changed.
Hey, I caught up and self-tagged myself with 100WW. :)
I'm glad you qualified #30. I mean, you aren't being a 'good' mom unless your kids are embarrassed. LOL
HUGS sweetie!
100. Damn. I don't think I could do fill 100.
new beginnings-new life-
amazing changes, huh?
just wow.
yep!
What lori said! ;-)

Pissy
I can't wait for your book and the seminars now... :D There is so much awesome that is you now....
Here's to you!
I wake up every morning thinking that when I get home I need a nap. I've never been able to sleep through the night...I hate that!!
I love reading about all of your accomplishments and love to tell you good for you and I am so proud of you!!
I agree...the foot pyramid SHOULD really stress the importance of proteins in our diet. It helps keep our glucose levels stable. I quit sodas a long time ago. Just got too expensive. Coffee though? That's a whole nother story!
XO
Signgurl, another great list!! :)
Parking far away is one of the "habits" I picked up. I avoid it when it's like -20 or so outside, but when the weather is normal, I park as far away as possible. :)
As for #27... I am so bad about "What can I eat next?" I have to remind myself it's only food. Just food.
Isn't it amazing when you look back and you can't even imagine your life being so different, yet it totally is.

I love your lists, Jenn. I'm very happy for you - you have achieved so much and you are wonderfully articulate to be able to talk about your progress in an engaging way. Keep up all of the great progress!
*S*
Protein is the shit.
I love my protein.
And my fiber.
Fiber and Protein sittin' in a tree...
Along with some whole grains for extra added kink.
I'm with Jildo, I don't really drink soda...but I like caffeine.
I like it in green tea, usually.
But, I enjoy my coffee as well.
I should try and wean from it, but I love green tea WAY too much.
And dark chocolate.
It's in dark chocolate too.
I think, but in small amounts.
But, dark chocolate also has lots of fiber.
So, it's all good!
See how I justify everything?
That's bad.
